Frequently Asked Questions
U-Pick FAQs
When can I pick blueberries on your farm?
Our blueberries are available to pick from early July until mid-August (weather dependent). Please contact us or check out our Facebook or Instagram pages for exact seasonal opening and closing dates. Each year is slightly different due to the weather
What should I do when I arrive?
Upon arrival, please come to our barn entrance. One of our attendants will greet you and provide you with a plastic-lined bucket.
What size buckets are available?
We offer two sizes of buckets: a one-gallon size that holds approximately 6 lbs and a larger size that holds up to 12 lbs of blueberries.
Can I bring my own container?
If you would like to pick in your own container, you are welcome to do so. If you would like to have your container pre-weighed upon arrival, just bring it to the front checkout counter.
Where do I pick blueberries?
You will be directed to rows that have the best-ripened berries for the day. Pick as many berries as you would like.
What should I bring or wear?
We recommend wearing a hat or using sunscreen since the bushes do not offer a lot of shade. Bring water to stay hydrated, and mosquito spray is recommended if you arrive early or in the evening.
How do I take my berries home?
You can take your berries home in our provided clear plastic bags, or upgrade to a box for a small charge.
Can I Drive My Vehicle to the Blueberry Bushes?
Are pets allowed?
No pets are allowed in our fields due to food safety regulations. Service dogs are welcome.
Are restrooms available?
Clean portable restrooms are on site, along with handwashing stations and a shaded picnic table area with tire swings.
All are handicapped accessible.
How does checkout work?
Once you have picked as much, or as little as you like, return with your bucket(s) to the barn. Your berries will be weighed, minus the bucket weight, and you will just pay for the pounds picked.
What forms of payment do you accept?
